My Scrappy Space

Hopefully, you arrived here from DeeDee's blog if you are on the Crop Chocolate Blog Hop! Welcome to my messy scrappy room. I tried and I tried to clean it up for the blog hop. Then I made one layout or one project and it was just as messy all over again. I figure reorganizing this will take all summer! So here is my messy scrappy room, in all it's glory!

This is a wooden cabinet, in it, I store all my old sizzix dies, my wizard, spellbinders dies, cuddlebug, etc etc etc.

These are the shelves that I store loose paper at. Not cardstock, not stacks, not kits... just loose paper.

In the back corner, is boxes of scrappy stuff that I need to go thru. It is loaded down with embellishments, etc. All stuff from the last time I arranged my scrappy room and really cleaned it.

This is the look from behind my scrapping tables. I look across the room, at my laptop and computer chair. I also have a lovely Mickey Mouse TV set that I inherited :)

This is one side of my scrappy area. For this section, I got this great idea and bought 2 of the same tables. Each table is supposed to sit 6 people. I love these tables! They are so big and spacious! I have baskets of stuff under them. Inside, peeking out you will see a make up bag ribbon holder that I made for a crop chocolate project.

Moving on over to the right, here is the area I usually work at. I have 4 draw sets under the table. They hold my ribbon and trims.

This used to be our kitchen table, when we were first married and living in Connecticut! Now, it is my drying area (when I can find a flat surface under there). Under the table, I have this awesome paper sorter that I bought from Staples. It holds all my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. On the table, I have a bunch of hardware organizers, and then on the shelves, is where I store twine. I LOVE twine!

This is moving to the right, and this is where the kits go, and the solid cardstock. up top, there are paints and stuff.

Now, this is going behind my scrappy area.... the boxes need to be sorted still. They contain the more recent purchases. The bookshelf behind it, contains stacks of paper, and embellishments.
This is a better view of that area. We will not discuss the shed behind it... ok. Just pretend you did not see it in there.

This is probably the most organized area of my scrapping room. The punches are hanging in a shoe bag, on the back of the door (It is a second door to the laundry room, that I never use). On the wall, there is an old cassette tape holder of hubby's. It holds ink pads for me). On the floor, is my homemade clip it up. This holds my most used embellishments.

Like I said at the beginning, my room is messy. Oh well. The rest of my house is clean, and that is what matters! Now, follow my blog, and leave a comment, and I will draw a random winner on June 11th from those who left a comment. The prize? Making memories Dilly dally stamps and embellishment kit!

Now, once you are done here, hop on over to Karen's Blog and continue the crop chocolate blog hop!

June already!

Gosh, this feels like time is flying by!
It is time for me to post of the projects I have been working on lately.

Here is a 2 page layout, made using Echo Park SPLASH! I love the bright colors!

An Altered Cigar Box for my Husband......

It is now on his desk at work :)

Here is a tin I made! I altered it and decorated it. I loved the way the flowers came out.

Here are flowers I made for my design team goodbye blog!

And here are some cards I used the flowers on!

Here is a birthday card, I made for a friend..... This card was PAYBACK for her wishing me a 45th birthday this year. Anyone who knows me, knows I am perpetually 29. And in reality, I am still in my 30's. Here is the card I made for her.

Even in payback, I was nice. I bought 2 of the stamp sets to make this card, and sent her a set :)

Here is the thank you cards I made for school this year. Bought gift cards, slid them inside and I was done :)

This is a card I made for a challenge. It has glimmer mists on it, and a homemade flower too!

Here is the Tip In Page I made for a swap I am in. It follows my partner's them and color scheme :)

Here is a card I made, for a focus group Bingo Challenge.

Here is the Wooden Kiss I made. The Kiss comes from Oh My Crafts, and the project was to alter it. I ended up with this.

I absolutely LOVE this kiss!

And my Bravissimo Challenge...... I used my dad as my hero :)
He truly is!

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.....

The marriage of Crop Chocolate to Oh My Crafts was celebrated by an online crop.

Something Old...... use an item that has been around a while. I used vintage Sassafras paper and old MME rub on title too!

Something new.... use something new you own that you never used before. I used both the Making Memories glitter vacation words, and the Martha Stewart Pansy punch.

Something borrowed.... I borrowed this idea from pinterest. It will now house all my open packages of prima flowers.

Something Blue....... this purse has more than 5 shades of blue.

This picture was taken on the way home from Chuck e Cheese.
Yeah... he is special!
